What is medical skin needling?
A safe and increasingly popular skin renewal technique which encourages a youthful healthy appearance. The Dermaroller when applied to the skin produces thousands of micro-medical needle puncturing. This stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally resulting in smoother and firmer skin. Skin needling is a therapy that is suitable for most skin types, it is less invasive than many other skin treatments such as Faxel, lasers and deep chemical peels. It does not require the removal of the skin surface.
How the treatment works
The micro–needles penetrate the top layers of the skin, this creates pin-point injuries in the deeper layers, which triggers a natural wound healing response. New collagen and elastin is formed this reduces wrinkle depth,it also increases skin elasticity. Dermarollering improves the appearance of, age and sun damaged skin. Acne Scars, Facial and Decollete lines and wrinkles. It can be used to improve the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite.
It is recommended that your dermaroller therapy consists of a series of procedures with approximately six weeks between them.
The results can take up to six weeks before visible signs of regeneration are seen the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement.
